The Social Dilemma

 I found it interesting how designers pick the things that we view on the internet. It's crazy how I never really thought about how much of an effect google has on the world until I watched this. 

Quote that stood out to me : "if your not paying for the products you are the product"

it's interesting how the internet is considered a "Marketplace" everything that we do is being watched, which is a bit scary because why do you know more about me then I do. 

I get the understanding now of why certain platforms take from other platforms features. They see what's working and they are trying to make more ads and features for more money.

when you dive a little more into the understanding of the social dilemma you find that it forms behavior modification and psychological manipulation. Alot of people depend on these apps in their everyday life, to a point it gets hard for them to function without having  “dose” of social media. In a way it becomes scary because in reality we are becoming controlled in a way.
