We Used To wait

Is it a good thing that times have changed so that its a lot easier for people to get their messages across quicker ?

 Did waiting on messages to get delivered teach people patients? 

 If times never changed what would technology look like today? 

 i feel that the song was very relatable to me growing up without a phone. i hate to wait to speak to my mom when she came home from work.
